Assistance League of Los Angeles received a donation of 240 TORC children’s books and coloring books.
Early child literacy plays a crucial role in shaping the future of the new generation and unfortunately one of the biggest challenges for low-income families with regard to early literacy is the lack of access to books in their household. We love to see and be part of the passion and dedication for making difference at the Assistance Leagues LA by donating TORC the CAT children’s books and coloring books to this great organization.
Our books aim to bring the joy of reading and discovery to children and to help their imaginations wander the globe with TORC on his dreams of adventure, while the coloring books help kids develop color recognition, motor skills, grip control and patience. We believe these skills form the foundation for early learning success and child development.
Assistance League of Los Angeles was founded after WWI in a moment of national crisis. Dedicated League members jumped into action by providing essential supplies, childcare, donation drives, and more. 102 years later the League continues to adapt to the unique needs of the Los Angeles community.
